The University of Texas at El Paso Interactive Fact Book is designed to serve
as an easily-accessible and consistent source of information for the university
community. The Fact Book includes the most frequently requested data on
students, programs, and faculty.
The information in the Interactive Fact Book is generated from multiple sources,
but it is primarily generated from official reports to the Texas Higher
Education Coordinating Board. Data presented in the Fact Book may differ from other reports, due to minor
differences in definitions or data-capture dates; however, in most cases, the
variation will be minor.
The Interactive Fact Book is expected to be used as a resource for planning and
evaluation activities by the campus community. We will continue to improve the
document based on the feedback and suggestions we receive.

generating and updating the Fact Book. In particular, I want to acknowledge the
work of CIERP's Data and
Reporting Group; they made significant efforts to improve the reliability and
accuracy of the data.
